Mark Steven Blackman

Mark Steven Blackman, age 62, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born in Los Angeles, California to his parents Myron Blackman and Lee Daar. Mark S. Blackman was an attorney handling real estate litigation and bankruptcy matters in California and Nevada. Since 1990, he represented almost all of the manufactured home lenders and servicers in California.

Mark was active in community service, coordinating the San Fernando Bar Association's Blanket the Homeless, Pass the Turkey, and Ask A Lawyer programs for many years. Mark was nominated for the Fernando Award for Community Service in the San Fernando Valley in 2007. He was President of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association in 2000.

A graduate of UCLA and Loyola Law School, he was an avid UCLA supporter who was married to a USC Trojan for 35 years. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mark and his wife Sharon moved to Las Vegas nine years ago, where he oversaw the building of two homes. Mark enjoyed cruising, travel, theatre, football, and Vegas Golden Knights hockey.

Mark will be laid to rest at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California.
