Mary Ellen Forsyth, age 85, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. She was born on February 3, 1938 in Grand Forks, North Dakota at Grafton Hospital. She graduated from Grand Forks High School in 1957. Mary Ellen married Arvid Merle Johnson in August of 1959 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
Mary Ellen had a passion for art, square dancing, traveling, and swimming. She enjoyed music (Elvis was one of her favorites).
Mary Ellen is survived by her daughter; Cheryl Lorson, son; Steve Johnson, grandchildren; Justin Jett, Siarra Johnson, Andrew Johnson and her beloved pets Cocco and Brett.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM immediately followed by committal at Palm Boulder City Mausoleum and Columbarium, 551 Adams Boulevard, Boulder City, NV 89005.
