Matt Dornak

Matthew (Matt) Dornak passed away on December 20, 2018. He was “Vegas Born” on September 26, 1979. Matt loved being the man behind the camera. Whether it was taking photos, creating videos, or filming commercials, he enjoyed spending time editing and making the perfect product. Matt was an avid Raiders’ fan and more recently, a Golden Knights’ fan. He loved laughter, a good joke, and silly old cats.

He is survived by his parents, Benny and Sandy Dornak; siblings, Lisa Dornak Bullen, David (Madalyn) Dornak, and Eric (Julie) Dornak; his nephews and nieces, Maxwell Bullen (Godson), Harrison Bullen, Ashley Dornak, Christopher (CJ) Dornak, Alexa Dornak, and Lauren Dornak, and his life partner, Laura Nichols, and her children, Jessica Kinzler, Allysa Kinzler, Rebecca Martin, and Dylan Kinzler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary and Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015. A private interment will follow. A continuation of the Celebration of Matt’s Life will take place also on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 4 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 911 E Ogden Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to wear Raiders and Golden Knights jerseys as we remember the good times and cherish the memories of a son, brother, uncle, and friend.
