Melcine (Millie) Sawyer, 83, passed away in Las Vegas of natural causes on June 28, 2020. She was born February 16, 1937 in Dallas, Texas to Carol and Arlene Spedden.

Melcine was a loving daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Born in Dallas, Texas, she was raised in Southern California. Even though she lived the later years of her life in the mountains, her heart was always at the beach. Millie was easy to talk to and always had a big heart. She loved each and every one of her children and accepted new family members with open arms. She was a woman who loved family and friends unconditionally.

She is survived by her children: Leslie (Robert) Burns, John (Tressa) Jefferson, Jeannie (Danny) Brown, Gary Jefferson, Salvi (Jordan) Godorov, Christine (Jeremy) Perkins; 50+ grandchildren; 35+ great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Deral; ex-husband, Polo; brother, Bill; sister, Patti; and daughter, Kim.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Panguitch Cemetery.
