Melga E. McClure, of Las Vegas, our beloved wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, passed away June 21, 2012, her birthday, at home, surrounded by those who loved her deeply. Melga was born June 21, 1954, in Aruba, Netherlands Antilles, to Alejandro and Anna Yarzagaray. She was a 24-year resident of Nevada. Melga was the 11th of 12 children. She grew up in Aruba, and that is where she met her husband, Ken. They were married Dec. 21, 1982. In 1989, they moved to Las Vegas, where their son, Ian, and daughter, Kimberly, were raised. Melga enjoyed hiking, camping and anything that involved spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Anna Yarzagaray; a brother, Lino; and sister, Ivonne. Melga is survived by her husband, Ken; son, Ian; daughter, Kimberly; grandson, Deavon; her in-laws, "Mom" and "Dad" McClure; five sisters, Lima, Ethel, Miriam, Glenny and Mayra; and four brothers, Amado, Marciano, Irving and Dennis, all of Aruba. Services were previously held.
