Michael C. Paschal

Michael Paschal, 66 of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Born on April 19, 1946 to Mildred and Vance Paschal in Los Angeles, California. Michael graduated from Leuzinger High in 1965, went to El Camino College for 2 years then he spent 4 years in the United States Navy. It was while in the Navy he found his love for surgery and helping people. Also while in the Navy he met and married the love of his life, Marsha on September 16, 1967. After leaving the Navy, Michael and his family spent a few years in Georgia. But it wasn't until 1976 when they moved to Bullhead City, Arizona that Michael truly began his career. Known in Bullhead as either Dr. Mike or Mikey, he truly touched and changed many lives in family practice with his compassion and caring. In 1992 he made the decision to move to Las Vegas, Nevada to begin a new chapter in helping and caring for patients in orthopedics. Just as he did in family practice, Michael touched so many lives, not only his patients but his co-workers as well.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother Mildred. He is survived by his father Vance Paschal, (Bullhead city, AZ); wife of 44 years Marsha (Henderson, NV); his son Mark (Henderson, NV); his daughter Michelle Harmon and husband Jason (Henderson, NV); his brother LeMoyne Truesdell and wife Connie (Hot Springs, Arkansas): two nephews and one niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice in Micheal's name.

Services will be private but, there will be a Celebration of Life Party (as Michael wanted) to be announced.
