Michael Spevak Smith

Michael Spevak Smith, 50, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Henderson, Nevada. Michael was born January 9th, 1966 in Cedar City, Utah to Gene and Lana Smith. Mike was a heavy equipment operator for Las Vegas Paving for over 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and watching Nascar. Mike was an Eagle Scout at the age of 16. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and love for life.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa, their children, Erika (Bradley) Wintch, Wade Smith, Alexis Smith, Courtney (Jeff) Faught, Cassidey (Michael) Rawlins, Kennedey Smith, and Kelsey Smith, his 6 grandsons, Mason and Hayden Wintch, Drew Westmoreland, and Blake, Bryce, and Brett Faught, parents, Gene and Lana Smith, and sisters Markae (Guy) Stephensen and Nicole (Kevin) Roundy.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 5:00 PM with the Funeral services at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stake center, 400 S. Water street, Henderson, Nevada, 89015. Online condolences are welcomed.
