Olga "Pat" Fascenda

Olga Veronica Fascenda (better known as Pat), of Henderson, Nevada, went home to our Lord on April 18, 2016 at the age 89. Pat was born in Chicago on July 9, 1926. She was married to Frank Fascenda (deceased) on October 26, 1945. They were married 66 years.

She previously lived 28 years in Ventura, California, where she loved raising her children. She donated much of her time to Sacred Heart Church community. She also volunteered at the American Cancer Society and for over 20 years at the Ventura County Fair. Her commitment to church and community is where she made lifelong friends she cherished even after she moved away in 1998 to Henderson, NV.

Pat is survived by her children: Linda and Mike McCann, Donna Fascenda and RJ Haas, Frank and Patti Fascenda, John and Tracy Fascenda, Sandy Deiro, and Thomas Fascenda. She has 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She loved being with her family and friends. Other interests were reading, crossword puzzles, and visiting the occasional casinos. One of her favorite past times was watching Murder She Wrote, any hour of the day or night. The family has wonderful memories of celebrating holidays, creating special family traditions which will be carried on and forever cherished. She will be truly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 25th 1 PM at St Thomas More Catholic Community Church in the chapel, 130 North Pecos Road, Henderson, NV.
