Pamela Kennard, 50, passed away on September 14th, 2011 at her home of residence. She was born on 11-1-1960 on All Saint's Day. She was an “Angel”. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She loved her daughter with all her heart-willing to sacrifice anything to ensure she was happy. Her Mom & Dad were not only her parents but her best friends. I was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with Pam in January 1996. On June 7th, 1996 she made me the happiest person on earth when she said, “Yes.” She loved without any reservations, pure inside.
She has numerous friends & relatives. Her friends were at our home almost daily. She accepted you as you were, no questions, no reservations. If you needed something, she gave what she could. The children in the neighborhood loved Pam. I remember answering the door one day, it was Mariah (5 years old), “Can Pam come out & play?” She loved Jennifer & Fernando's children. The older ones would come and dance to the Wii. Julie, our upstairs neighbor would be here with her kids dancing when I came home from work. Mariah would come over and watch TV with us. Pam could never say, “No” to anyone. That was my job because it would pain her to disappoint someone, even when she was in agony, she would give in & help if she could.
Her sisters Rhonda and Sherry were her closest friends . She lit up when they came for a visit, she spoke of them daily -they were a team and the laughter flowed when they visited.
Marcin (who we've known for years), she thought of as a little brother or the son she never had. He was at our house everyday for years. She would love him, scold him, get mad at him, forgive him, and welcome him back. It pained her when they argued and I would always know when things were right because the smile would be back in her eyes.
Jeff, Anna & Harrison came into our lives in the past years. Anna is the sister she found in Nevada, her best friend forever, her confidante, her soul mate. Harrison, Anna's daughter, was a joy in her life. She loved the way Harrison thought of her and spoke to her, always loving to Pam. Anna was always there for her as a friend-she loved Pam "Her Pammy Cakes!" Pam loved her! Anna was the only person she would accept when she needed to vent her frustrations because Anna would be honest with her and she loved that about Anna.
Helmut, you need to make Pam proud of you,. You know how she expects you to succeed, so please make her proud from this moment forward.
Jessica, your mom was your best friend. She wanted only the best for you, so please make her proud, make me proud too. We love you. When you loose a Mom, you not only loose your mother, you loose your best friend.
Pam was my soul mate. We loved, we fought, we argued, we left, but we always came back to each other. We were miserable when we fought, we were miserable when we were apart. We couldn't live without each other. Our love was soul deep, nothing could destroy our caring for each other. I will miss her forever. A part of me is no more-
