Paul F. Benninger

Paul F. Benninger, 78, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born March 23, 1940 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to his parents Martin and Evelyn Benninger. When Paul was 8, the family moved to Akron, Ohio where he would grow up and go on to graduate from St. Vincento High School in 1958.

Paul was an auto worker for 30 years at the Chrysler Plant in Belvidere, Illinois. He married the love of his life, Marie, March 26, 1960, in Akron Ohio. They had three amazing children. Paul was a loving husband, devoted father, and a terrific grandpa. He enjoyed riding his Harley and was a die-hard Packers fan. Paul was also a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Henderson, Nevada.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife Marie Benninger; his wonderful mother-in-law, Bobbie Taylor; his children: Beth (Jim} Bryant, John (Dawn) Benninger, Jamie (Bridget) Benninger; siblings: Maryann, John (Cathy), Joan (Ed), Louise (Vince), Diane (Steve); four grandsons, nine great-grandchildren, as well as, many wonderful family and friends both near and far.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Paul will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit, Wisconsin.
