Pauline Rose Moore, age 96, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed, away on Friday, February 26, 2021. She was born September 24, 1924 in Worcester, Massachusetts to her parents Joseph Abate and Josephine Rose Demarco. At an early age, her father was tragically killed in a fire at the age of 34. Her mother remarried to Salvatore Frustaci. There family blended and she was raised with her three siblings: Stella, Louis, and Salvatore.
Pauline, although she only formally went to school until the 7th grade, so that she could help her family; was determined to make her mark on the world. She continued her education individually and studied very hard to become a nurse. Without finishing high school or any college training, Pauline passed the Nursing Board exams and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. During which time, she married her first husband, Frank A. Ledoux, and raised her only son, Francis Ledoux. For the next 27 years, Pauline would work as an LPN for the Worcester State Hospital in Massachusetts, until she retired.
After the passing of her husband, Pauline remarried, retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant, Harry Moore. In 1976, Pauline and her husband relocated to Nevada. She took a job at Broadway Department store for the next 10 years until she officially retired.
Pauline was a devoted wife and mother. She was dedicated to her faith, and will truly be missed.
Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank A. Ledoux; late husband, Harry Moore; father; Joseph Abate; mother, Josephine, Demarco; the father that raised her, Salvatore Frustaci; and three siblings: Stella, Louis, and Salvatore. She is survived by her son, Francis Ledoux (Carol); many nieces, nephews and extended family.
