Penny Hoefert, a 44 year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away February 7th, 2014. Born in Thailand May 1st, 1941. She came to the United States in 1968 after meeting the love of her life, Leo Hoefert. Penny was a proud United States citizen who worked 21 years at the Golden Nugget. Penny was strong woman who battled cancer for 12 years. She is an inspiration for her tremendous strength and love for life. We find comfort, knowing she is at peace with God in heaven.
She is the loving wife of Leo Hoefert, and a devoted mother of 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9:00 am -10:00 am Thursday, February 13th, 2014 and services following at 10:00 am at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Hwy., Henderson, Nevada. Burial immediately following at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, Nevada. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend she will be greatly missed.
