Randall Lee Sloan

Randall Lee Sloan, 87, passed away peacefully at home with family on December 22, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1936, in Westville, Oklahoma. After graduating from Basic High School, Randall served in the Nevada Army National Guard for nine years. He ended his career as the Regional Sales Manager for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company.

Randall, affectionately called "Handy Randy" by those close to him, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was passionate about adventure and loved traveling and working on DIY projects around his home and garden. He was a fan of country music, the Las Vegas Raiders, his trusty 1993 red Ford Ranger, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Hallmark movies, weekly cards with friends, meeting for coffee and playing the lottery with his buddies. He was also deeply patriotic and had a great love for his country.

His memory will forever remain in our hearts. We are grateful for God allowing us to love you.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Leona Sloan; as well as his brother, Jerry Sloan. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Linda; their children: Michael Sloan (Christine), Pamela Sloan (Victoria), Russell Sloan (Ronnie), and Pegi Sloan; his brother, Chester Sloan (Judy); grandchildren: Ryan Sloan, Randi Bailey (Michael), Wyatt Sloan, Sloan Lopez, and Nikko Lopez (Callie); and great grandchildren: Aiden Sloan, Lincoln Bailey, and Lennon Bailey.

A memorial service for Randall will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, followed by a committal with military honors at Palm Henderson Cemetery.
