Ransom F. Spurlock II, 55, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away June 21, 2013. He was born in Henderson, Nevada on November 11, 1957. Rance graduated from Basic High School in 1957. He was married to Patricia Hellebrand on June 15, 2008. Rance worked as an Ironworker in Local 433 for over 25 years, which included 17 years at the Nevada Test Site. Rance was the proud owner of Spurlock's Gun Shop. He had a lifelong passion for hunting, which included hunts in Canada, Mexico, and Africa. He was survived by his wife Patricia, two children, Kathie and Colton, two step-children, Dawn and Sharon, and six grandchildren, Risa, Anisa, Raymon, James, Michelle, Sabastian, and his sister Patsy Longtime. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, July 2, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 303 South Cholla Street, Henderson, NV. Private interment will take place at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, Henderson, NV.
