Raymond Charles Rose, 73, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2018. He was born September 8, 1944 in New York City, New York to the late Helen Ann Marie Rose and George Charles Rose.
Ray served as an airplane mechanic and educator for the United States Air Force for over 20 years he is also a Vietnam Vet. After retiring from the Air Force he spent the next 23 years at the Department of Aviation as Maintenance Supervisor. Retired for the last 6 years, he has enjoyed golfing with his best friend Jose and spending time watching his extensive collection of DVD’s.
Ray is survived by his son Robert A. Rose and his partner Teresa Walker, daughter Andeen M. Rose-Clark, her husband Tiger Clark. He was also a Grandfather to Anastacios Theologitis, Whitley Clark, Justina Rose, her son Sam, as well as his youngest daughters, Nancy now deceased, children Jesse and Daryon Lawrence; Ray is also survived by two sisters, Georgia Rose and Patti Rose.
Ray will be dearly missed by his family and friends, his wicked sense of humor and straight to the point attitude endeared him to all who were lucky enough to be around him.
