Renee Lanette Jarvis

Renee Lanette Jarvis, age 54, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. She was born April 16, 1967 in Grants, New Mexico to Walter and Ida Candelaria. She grew up with her younger sister, Cindy.

The family relocated to Henderson, Nevada in 1980. Renee graduated from Basic High School in 1985. After graduation, Renee welcomed her first son Alex “Christopher” in 1987. She met the love of her life George in 1992. They welcomed their son, Joshua in 1993. Renee loved being a stay-at-home mom, along with helping take care of her nephews and niece. She was a natural nurturer, whose passion was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She went out of her way to always make sure that everyone felt special. She was a proud grandma to her five grandchildren and excited for the baby on the way.

Renee had a passion for all things Disney and Mickey Mouse, baking, cooking, camping, traveling, the beach, watching Hallmark movies, and most of all; spending time with George and their family. She loved all holidays, with Christmas being her favorite. Renee was a carefree people person, always making new friends along her journey. Everyone who met Renee loved her, she never met a stranger, and always treated everyone with love and respect. Her smile was infectious and she gave the best hugs.

Renee was currently working as a receptionist at LAM Contracting for 15 years, where she was loved and adored by all who dealt with her daily. She was looking forward to retirement with George, and dreamed of them traveling to new places.

Renee is survived by her husband of 28 years, George E. Jarvis, their sons: Alex “Christopher” Norman (Vanessa) and Joshua Jarvis (Kiley); her parents: Walter and Ida Candelaria, sister, Cindy Enciso (Paul); maternal grandmother, Senaida Borrego, and six grandchildren: Trey, Axl, Jett, Aniyah, Oakley, and Baby Norman (on the way); and aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Renee was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed by all. Her spirit will continue to live on through those who loved her the most.

A visitation with rosary for Renee will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the Rosary at 6 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 204 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015. Renee will be laid to rest following at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015
