Rita Aguirre

Rita Rodriguez Aguirre, age 78, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away from her challenges from Parkinson's Disease on Friday, October 22, 2021. She was born May 11, 1943 in Los Angeles, California. to her parents Jose M. Rodriguez and Rose Negrete. Rita graduated from Jordan High School in Los Angeles, California. On May 1, 1965, Rita married the love of her life, Antonio, at a private civil wedding.

Rita worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for over 20 years, Retiring in 2010. She was a longtime member of St. Helens Catholic Church in Southgate. Rita enjoyed taking long walks, tending to her yard, and spending time with her family. She relocated from California to Nevada in August of 2019. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will truly be missed.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Antonio. She is survived by her only son, Jose Aguirre and his wife, Valerie; stepbrothers: Max and Kiko; grandchildren: Joshua Aguirre, Kaitlyn Aguirre, Joseph Aguirre, Brianna Vasquez, Alex Vasquez, Anthony Vasquez and Maniah Marrujo; and great children: Ava, Sariyah, Keaira, James, Leila, Dominik, and Camila.

A visitation for Rita will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Rita will be laid to rest at Noon at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
