Rita M. Salimbeni, 82, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 8, 2021.

Along with her 8 brothers and sisters, she was born in Steelton, PA and was the daughter of Andrew P. Marinak and Josephine (Gustin) Marinak. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Salimbeni.

Rita worked as an administrative medical assistant for most of her career as well as holding various other office positions, elsewhere.

She enjoyed golf, playing cards, socializing, and hosting family and friends at her house, but most of all, she loved to dance.

You would always find a smile on her face, food in the kitchen and a house filled with love and laughter. Rita had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and embraced you as part of her family the minute that you met.

She is survived by sons Steven, South Carolina, and Gene, Mount Joy, PA, husband of the late Laurie (Posipanko) Salimbeni, as well as her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rita will be lovingly missed by her family, siblings, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in Rita's memory.

My favorite memory of Rita was when her son Steve (whom I was friends with), came home for leave from the Marines after basic training. Rita called me and asked if I would care to join them for the home coming party. After picking Steve up from the airport, Rita and went directly to the kitchen to cook the meal. I can't remember everything we cooked,, but we cooked enough for a small army. We laughed and she showed me how to make a few items. It was a wonderful day and one I will never forget. She was a wonderful lady and someone I will never forget. RIP Rita

O how I wished you had made it back to PA. Years ago .
We could have seen each other & reminiscing would have been so much fun. We had great times in Myrtle Beach with the brother’s and sister. Fran .
Joe and I learned to Golf there with you & all brothers giving instructions.
The card games and parties were great.
I remember you as a kid- Joe and I took you to the beach - I think you had a great time..
Can’t believe you’re gone , too young to leave us all. Love you my Sister Rita, Rest In Peace
Love you, Big Sis , Mary Ann..

The service went well. About a 1/2 dozen people showed up to say their goodbye's. Gene organized the service and wrote a nice sermon for the pastor to read. We had food after the memorial and shared stories. Aunt Rio Rita will surely be missed.

In loving memory to a blessed kind-hearted Aunt who always had a warm smile and hugs to give whenever we shared times together as family. Aunt Rio, your free spirit will endure in the hearts of those you loved and touched along the way. My condolences to cousins Gene and Steve, and to Rita's brothers and sisters, Rita will be missed by many, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace my dear lady.
