

Robert Gerald Campbell, age 90, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9, 1933. His family moved to Delano, California when he was 14, where he finished out his high school years.
After graduation, Bob joined the U.S. Air Force and was a crew chief on F-86 fighter planes during the Korean War. He was later stationed at Nellis AFB, which is where he lived when he met Irene Leavitt. They stayed mostly in the Las Vegas and Henderson area the rest of their lives.
Bob was a loving father, grandfather, great and great-great grandfather, who lived his life for his family. He man of faith and served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in many capacities including Bishop, and ward and stake clerk.
He was preceded in death by his wife and eternal companion, Irene; his parents: Donald and Vivian; his brother, James; son-in-law, Delbert; and grandson, Rich. He is survived by his five daughters: Peggy Sagers, Patti Derengowski, Debbie (Dennis) Selvage, Terri Perkins, and Dawn (Craig) Mackelprang; 20 grandchildren; over 50 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 303 SCholla Street, Henderson, NV 89015, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bob will be laid to rest privately at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
