Bob was born the son of Anthony Nardozzi (deceased) and Katherine (Bertino) Nardozzi (deceased) on September 28, 1953 in Geneva, New York. Bob was a master carpenter, and proficient in all the building trades. He held a hammer in his hand at age 6, going to jobs with his father. As a teenager, he profited from his skills, living in a nice apartment and driving muscle cars when many of his friends still lived at home. His hands had the artist’s touch and he completed numerous home remodels, and with his father, Anthony, and their employees, added buildings and upgrades that still stand at Hobart College.
Bob loved horses, and horse racing and at one time, he housed and cared for up to 13 horses, that he and his family obtained in claiming races at the Finger Lakes race track in Farmington, New York. He became an excellent handicapper. He loved gambling and was lucky more often than not.
He wanted to explore opportunities in Las Vegas, Nevada in the ‘80s, and again in the late ‘90s, but eventually returned to Geneva, New York to work in the family business, Ontario Concrete and Paving Company, for 12 years and it was during this time that he built his own custom home - one of the finest in the town of Geneva. Bob could make a vision become a reality, and he left his mark during his time as a resident in the local community.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Constance, Mark (Veronica) Hemingway (son of Constance and Charles Hemingway) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nicole Widme (daughter of Robert and Andrea Nardozzi) of Las Vegas, NV, Jacklyn (Michael) Nardozzi (daughter of Robert and Andrea Nardozzi) of Bothell, WA; seven beloved grandchildren, Michela Caprara (21) of Las Vegas, NV, Vincent Hemingway (15) of Las Vegas, NV, Domenico Hemingway (12) of Las Vegas, NV, Isaac Widme (7) of Las Vegas, NV, Gunnar Widme (6) of Las Vegas, NV, Brodie Nardozzi (8) of Bothell, WA, and Gwendolyn Nardozzi (5) of Bothell, WA; seven beloved brothers Michael (Lynda) Nardozzi of Henderson, NV, Tom Nardozzi of Geneva, NY, John(Carol) Nardozzi of Victor, NY, Don (Lynda) Nardozzi of Geneva, NY, Dan (Jeannie) Nardozzi of Geneva, NY, Ken (Cathy) Nardozzi of Geneva, NY, and Richard Nardozzi of Geneva, NY; 1 brother-in-law, Robert (Elizabeth) Cellucci of San Francisco, CA, and 3 sister-in-laws, Judy (Mike) Janicki, of Mesa, AZ, Christine Cellucci, of Tamarac, FL and Carlotta (Rupert) Kettle, of Kingston, WA; favorite nephews, James Nardozzi of Geneva, NY, Michael Nardozzi of Geneva, NY and many devoted nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, their children, and other family members, and all the people who loved him in life.
