Rocco John DeRobertis Jr.

Rocco lived his life exactly as he wanted to and was married to the love of his life for 67 years. He did everything with passion and enthusiasm, often loudly. He was the center of attention.

Opinionated is an understatement when it comes to Rocco; it was his way or the highway.

Rocco flew his own plane (and survived a crash landing), had his own boat, went scuba diving, rock-hounded, polished and cut rocks into art, blew glass, managed an impressive film collection as a cinephile, spent decades caring for a tortoise, loved to cook, and traveled the world. A Navy veteran and lifelong patriot, Rocco served in a different manner during the last few years by caring for his wife with Alzheimer's.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia, children Trish, Rocco, and Diana, sons-in-law Pete and Chuck, and grandchildren Peter, James, Tiger, Mitchell, and Haley. We will all remember Rocco’s generous heart.

A visitation will be held on December 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, located at 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, US.

The funeral service will follow on the same day at 11:30 am at the same location.

A graveside service is scheduled for December 5, 2025, at 1:20 pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005, US.
