Ron Jensen, of Reno, passed away Feb. 25, 2013. He was born March 19, 1953, to Donald Jim Jensen and Sally Robinson Jensen in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Ron grew up in Henderson, and attended Basic High School before becoming a millwright. Ron was married to Sherry Lyn Watson Nov. 21, 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally; and his wife, Sherry Lyn. Ron is survived by children, Cassandra Jensen of Winnemucca, Jimmy Jensen of Winnemucca, Jerry Jensen (Pepper) of Pahrump, and Sarah Jensen of Reno; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Terrie Gandy (Robert) of Carlin, Sherrie Sherman (Les) of Sparks, and Don Jensen (Sheri) of Henderson; and father, Donald Jim (Ada Marie) Jensen of Overton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
