Worked with Ron for 25 years. Academy, JTO school, made Cpl, all together. Made Sgt few months apart. Great, solid guy. Thinking about you often this last week. RIP my friend.

I wished I picked up the phone every time I thought of you. 
Quite simply, I adored you. You were the calm in the chaos. You were respectful, honest, funny. I could be myself around you. Your quiet, one line zingers came at the most perfect times, along with your perfect half smirk. You were the ultimate professional and the perfect partner/Brother.

Your love for your Mom & Dad and kids was truly second to no one. Your stories about them was endless..... another thing that endeared me to you. Family was THE most important thing to you. 
Man, you loved them with all your being. You were genuine to the core. 
I will miss you beyond words 2934.... but look forward to our next Roll Call. Until then, rest easy my friend. Say Hi to the rest of MCSO's Finest up there. Always, 2118

Ron was one of the sweetest and kindest guys there was. I was fortunate enough to  keep in touch over the years and/or run into him with our jobs. There was a small group of us from the neighborhood that were very close during Jr High/ HS, with very fond memories. My thoughts and prayers go out to his children and loved ones during this very difficult time. He will be missed.

To my brother in blue. As an academy classmate and friend, we shared many great memories in and out of work. I cannot believe you left us so soon. My deepest condolences to the family and you will never be forgotten.

I've knownRon for all of my career in law enforcement, he was one of my sergeant while working in Monroe County Jail. He will be remembered 😢.

My deepest condolences to all of you. I worked with Ronnie since the day he started at the Sheriffs department. Ron was a great co worker and we both retired as Sergeants. Ron Sr and my father knew each other as Ron was a Sergeant with the Fairport police when my father Vincent Kennelley was the Mayor.
