Rosemarie Joanne Savage

Rosemarie Joanne Savage, age 80, of Pico Rivera, California passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. She was born November 18, 1940 in Westfield, Massachusetts to her parents John Paul Falcetti and Maria (Sheldon) Falcetti. Rosemarie was raised in Westfield with her nine siblings and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1958.

On June 24, 1961, Rosemarie married the love of her life, Richard Savage, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Westield, Massachusetts. The following month, the young couple would embark on a wonderful journey that would span over the next 56 years, relocating to California. Her husband Richard worked as a commercial truck driver in California, Arizona, and Southern Nevada for many years, while Rosemarie worked in customer service for the next 30 years. Together, the couple were blessed five children: Robin, Rick, Randy, Renee, Raeann. As there family grew they were also blessed with eleven grandchildren, Kristina, Candice, Naelani, Nick, Tristyn, Brandon, Desiree, Ray, Andrew, CJ, Katlyn.

Rosemarie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors, camping, Fishing, and Crossword puzzles. She also liked to take vacations to Hawaii, where she could snorkel and view the sites. When she was at home, Rosemarie liked watching football and golf.

When Rosemarie's retirement finally arrived in 1994, she was well prepared. She had taken the time to learn about her various options and chose her course wisely. Her new life involved relocating to Henderson, Nevada. In retirement, she found new pleasure in camping, fishing, traveling, and bingo. Even in retirement, Rosemarie continued to stay in touch with her old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. She was active in the community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered her.

Rosemarie was a trustworthy, pragmatic and sympathetic person, the kind of woman to whom everyone was drawn. She was thorough and practical, and had a heart of gold; she will truly be missed.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her Husband of 56 years, Richard Savage, Sr.; father, John Paul Falcetti ; mother, Maria (Sheldon) Falcetti; great grandson, Elijah Savage; and siblings: Evelynn Angelica (Michael), John Paul Falcetti, Jr., and Robert Falcetti (Susan). She is survived by her five children: Robin Savage-Romero, Rick Savage Jr. (Jeanette), Randy Savage (Mandy), Renee Savage-Medina (Victor), and Raeann Savage (Rudy Torres); 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, and siblings: Charles (Joanne), Patricia, Richard, James, Marie, and Emilia.

A visitation for Rosemarie will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral services will begin promptly at 12:00 PM, both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Rosemarie will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery.
