Fade to Black Life it seems to fade away Drifting further everyday Getting lost within myself Nothing matters no one else I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give There is nothing more for me Need the end to set me free

Things not what they used to be Missing one inside of me Deathly loss this can’t be real Cannot stand this hell I feel Emptiness is filling me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me but now, he’s gone

No one but me can save myself, but it’s too late Now I can’t think, think why I should even try

Yesterday seems as though it never existed Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye Goodbye.

Russ, I may not have known you as well as many others, but from what I got to know about you, you were as genuine as they come. You barely knew me yet you did not hesitate to lend your hand and help me when I needed it! We always had smart-ass remarks and jokes toward eachother but were never taken in offense, I'm gonna miss all of that! Thank you for everything you have done for me when you were here! You will be missed but not forgotten! Rest easy my brother. Until we meet again...

Your sense of humor and terrible puns will be missed. You gave the warmest hugs. Your generosity and love and smile and so many other things will be missed, too. I still have to stop myself from trying to send you funny pictures. Instead I save them in a folder with your picture so I can be reminded of you. Thank you for everything you helped to get me through. I just wish I had the strength to take away your pain AND mine.
Ride light, Russ.

Russ,
We spent more time laughing than actually working. You had me constantly laughing the Five years I knew you and now you have me here crying. I never considered you a co-worker but a Brother.
I was talking to you about getting my son a PS1 and the next day you had one for him!! We still have it and will cherish It forever.
This hurts to write because I don’t want to believe it!!
Russ, I love you man.. Rest In Paradise Brother until we meet again.

Biography

Russell was a smart, talented and loving guy. He loved computers and always drove unique fixer-upper vehicles. When he was a child he loved to go fishing with his family, target shooting and 4 wheeling in the desert. Growing up Russell also loved to go swimming in his backyard and play pool on the pool table in the garage. Russell lost his dad when he was 13 years old to an accidental shooting and now he is able to be with his dad and loved ones in heaven.

Fade to Black
Life it seems to fade away
Drifting further everyday
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free

Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly loss this can’t be real
Cannot stand this hell I feel
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me but now, he’s gone

No one but me can save myself, but it’s too late
Now I can’t think, think why I should even try

Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye
Goodbye.
