Sandra Elaine Frye

Sandra Elaine Frye, age 65, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2015 in the loving arms of her husband of 43 years, James Larry Frye in Las Vegas NV. The daughter of Clara Jean Caldwell and the late Roe Neal Caldwell of Henderson NV was born in Batesville Arkansas on September 15, 1949. She is survived by her 4 children, Michael (Stephanie) Frye of Batesville Ark, Jamie (Chris) Teague of Henderson NV, Tara (Rick) Burt of Clarkston MI, and Tanya (Joe) Landry of West Bloomfield MI. She was a great multi-tasker, wife, mom sister, daughter, and friend, but she was also protector and grandma to her own and extended family. She graduated from Pontiac Northern in 1967 and worked for General Motors and the Pontiac School District before relocating to Henderson NV in 1996. There, she worked for the Luxor hotel and Casino for 18 years and took up the sport of golf, which she loved to play with friends and strangers alike. Sandy traveled the country during her life for sporting events, vacations and visits with loved ones. She will be remembered by her countless friends and family as genuine, loving and generous. She leaves behind a sister, Barb (Ron) Frye, grandchildren Brandon, Jordan, Nick, Gabrielle, Jacob, Noah, Allyson, Megan, Cooper, Nathan and Drew, two great grand children Jordan Jr. and Jacob also nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She will not be forgotten, she will forever be remembered in our thoughts and conversations and stories of the times we were lucky enough to have spent in the company of this great lady.

A memorial service will take place in Henderson NV on May 23, 2015 at 2pm at Jokers Wild 920 N Boulder Hwy Henderson NV 89011 in the upstairs banquet hall. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Nathan Adelson Hospice. We are requesting if attending the memorial to wear bright colors or your favorite team jerseys.
