Sandra Kay Valderrama

Sandra was born on December 3, 1956 in Landstuhl Germany at the Landstuhl US Army hospital. After graduating from Boulder City High School, Sandra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She had a successful career as a power plant operator for the Bureau of Reclamation at the Hoover Dam.

Sandra met her husband, Stephen, while at the Bureau of Reclamation, and the two were married on August 31, 2002. Sandra was the light of the entire family; her loud infectious laugh filled every room with pure joy. Sandra cared deeply for her family and friends, and shared her affection with such generosity. She was thought of and loved by many, many people. One of her favorite things was long motorcycle rides with her husband, Stephen, and their many friends. Sandra was a voracious reader, and often joked about her “book club” which consisted of herself and her beloved sister, Marsha. Rest in peace RSF.

Sandra was preceded in death by parents Marshall and Wanda Davidson, and sister, Sheila Allen.

Sandra is survived by husband Stephen, sons Stephen (Mamta), David (Erica), Nicholas, and Christopher. Sister Marsha (Terry), and grandchildren Aaron, Drew, Emily, and Seva. She had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.

Services will held Saturday, June 26, 2:00 PM, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson,
