Sandy graduated from Lexington High School in 1964 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1979. She worked for several Las Vegas casinos as a Payroll Specialist and retired in 2000.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Johnson (Mike), Heather Valentine (Rick), Zak Zerby (Jacquie), three grandchildren; Jacob, Abby and Nicholas, all from Nevada and sister, Pam Weiler (Mike) of Mansfield, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Mike Zerby in 2019 and brother Bob Shaffer in 2018.
Private services are being held by the family.
