Sara Jane Tobias

With heavy hearts, we remember and celebrate the life of Sara, who left this world on September 14, 2026. Born on March 29, 1976, in West Covina California, Sara was a beacon of love and joy, adored by her family and friends, and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sara was the beloved daughter of Alton and Virginia Watley; and cherished sister to Carrie and Michelle; and was predeceased by her parents and brother David. Her childhood in California was filled with laughter and love, memories she treasured deeply. It was there, at the tender age of ten, that Sara met her soulmate and future husband, Steven. Their life together was a testament to the enduring power of love, and together they built a beautiful family.

Sara was the proud mother of four children: Kaytlen, Haylie, Mary, and Mason. Her children were her pride and joy, and she was a guiding light in their lives. She was also a devoted grandmother to four precious grandchildren: Zachary, Madison, Olivia, and Amelia. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A rider at heart, Sara had a passion for life that was as infectious as her unforgettable laugh. She had a special fondness for the world of Harry Potter, and she found joy and magic in its pages and stories, which she shared lovingly with those around her.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Sara’s extraordinary life on October 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Palm Mortuary. It will be a time to honor the vibrant spirit that she was and to share in the memories of the joy she brought to so many.

Though she has departed from this earthly realm, Sara's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing the legacy of kindness and compassion that defined her life.
