Shukri was born to Elias and Najia Yanni in Yafa, Palestine on November 27, 1929. On August 6, 1946 he married the love of his life, Marguerite Mansour. They were married for 68 years. Together they shared an amazing journey and raised their seven children with love, through thick and thin.
Shukri is survived by his sons; Elias, Atallah, Imad, his daughters; Najia, Norma, Muna; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His daughter, Jackline has been waiting for him in heaven since 2001 and his wife, Marguerite has been waiting for him in heaven since 2014.
A Saint endorsed by the angels in heaven, Shukri was classy, patient, caring, devoted, passionate, generous, friendly, humble, strong, intelligent, full of dignity, and most of all the center of his family keeping them all together in a loving, strong relationship.
No amount of worldly words can possibly describe Shukri. He will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones who celebrate him being at home with his heavenly father. He will forever be in their hearts until they all reunite as he waits for them in the heavens.
