Thomas Bartley Cornelia, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He was born November 25, 1938 in Newton, New Jersey. Early life on a farm led to Rutgers University and an U.S. Air Force commission. He and his wife, Janis, retired to Henderson, Nevada in the early 1990’s.
Thomas is survived by two sons, Brett and Brad; three grandsons: Bradley, Ryan, and Kevin; and his spiritual partner of the past decade, Eileen. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christine; and his wife of 54 years, Janis.
A military honors service for Thomas will be held at 11:20 AM, Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:30 pm at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
In lieu of flowers, Thomas would have wanted any donations given to the Veterans organization of your choice.
