Ursula (Lee) Young, 85, a homemaker, of Henderson, passed away July 28, 2011. She was born July 29, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a 45-year resident of Nevada. Ursula was involved member of the Solos Club of Sun City MacDonald Ranch and active member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James E. Young. Ursula is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Jim) Snyder; her sons, James Young, Anthony (Rita) Young of Henderson, and Christopher (Sabra) Young of Carson City; grandchildren, Travis (Kim) Young, Ashley and Wes Snyder, Sydney, Elle and Kyra Young; and twin great-grandchildren, James and Colin Young. Rosary will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, with the viewing following 3:30-5 p.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway. Graveside services will follow at noon, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City.
