

Vincent James Favor Jr., age 82, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday September 8, 2019. Vince was born June 1, 1937 in Elizabeth, NJ. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and excelled in football and baseball. He joined the United States Air Force after high school.
Vince was married to Gilda Catherine Coletti on September 29, 1989. He worked as an auto and marine mechanic and he also had a career as a realtor. Vince and Gilda moved from Canada after 9/11 for the "love of country" and settled in Henderson, NV in 2002. He worked at the senior center for the city of Henderson delivering meals on wheels. Upon retirement, Vince was active in gathering food for the elderly and homeless, and continued helping anyone and everyone he encountered.
Vince was a proud member and 4th degree Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Catholic War Veterans. He had a passion for fishing, boating, and archery.
He is survived by his wife Gilda; daughters Joie, Lisa, Lora, and Lynn; sister Lucille Little; step-sister Miranda Kosick; grandchildren Christe, Cody, John, Lori, Ken, and Haley; greatgrandchildren Brody and Ethan; 4 nieces and 6 nephews.
