Wayne Lowell Amlber, 92, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away November 13, 2015. He was born in Fall River, Kansas on March 5, 1923. August 11, 1941, when Wayne was 17 years old, and with his parents permission, he entered the United States Marine Corps during WWII. During his 4 years he served in the Asiatic - Pacific Theater. He was Honorably Discharged for his service February 7, 1945 withe the rank of TSGT. Wayne was a Master Carpenter. He worked at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington for Local # 270 as a sheet metal worker. He had a love of the outdoors, especially river fly fishing. He was survived by his 4 children and their spouses; Richard (Cathy) Ambler, Michigan, Steven (Connie) Ambler, Washington, Debra (Richard) Trigneros, Arizona, Gail (George) McWilliams, Montana, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 sister and her spouse, Patricia (Frank) Barret, Oregon. Cemetery service will be held at 8:00am, November 23, 2015 at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, Nevada, 89005.
