Wayne was born on May 23,1942, in Hamilton, North Dakota.
He graduated from Lincoln High School. He married Sharon Emiko (Umetsu) Mahar, on July 19, 1975.
He had a 20 year career in the U.S. Air Force. He also retired from King County, Seattle, Washington, in their property tax division.
Wayne had a passion for talking and joking with everyone he met.
He is survived by Sharon, Spouse; daughters, Tina Keller and Cheri Mahar (Lori) and sons Darin Chong (Maria) and Jeff Chong (Yonnie); granddaughters Faria Yssassi and Leanna Loza; and grandson Connor Cluphf.
A Celebration of life will be held on December 18, 2025 at Palm Henderson Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015 at 1:00PM.
