It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William James Abrams, better known as "Jimbo" who passed away peacefully, July 5, 2024, at the age of 56. He was born September 17, 1967, in San Diego, California.
Jimbo retired over three years ago from Clark County working approximately 30 years as an electrician. One of his favorite things to do was cook fried turkeys for county employees during the Thanksgiving holidays. Jimbo was one of a kind man who was kind, generous, had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed camping at the Dumont Dunes, riding motorcycles, quads, and more recently his RZR. He also enjoyed spending time with Alley in their cabin in Duck Creek, Utah.
Jimbo was that person who always would tell it like it is but always with good intentions. He died far too soon but to quote his own words..."I stayed strong as long as I could"!
Jimbo was preceded in death by his father William James Abrams, Sr.. He is survived by his life long partner and wife, Alison Abrams, his mother, Wilhelmine Cook; sister, Julia Conner (James); niece, Jayden Conner; and aunts, uncles cousins and friends, too numerous to list!
Family, friends and others whose lives Jimbo touched are invited to a celebration of life on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A memorial gathering will follow from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, both at at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, 800 S Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015. Jimbo will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM Monday, July 22 at 1:00 PM at Panaca Memorial Park, Ernst St, Panaca, NV 89042.
