William Jay Robinson

William was born April 25, 1939 in Iowa. He graduated from Panora Iowa High School in 1956 and married Sandra Roberts in 1958. They had three children together. Later, he married Diane Kinney in 1979, and became the father of triplet girls in 1981.

He had a 30 year career in the Air Force, starting as an air craft mechanic and working himself up to staff sergeant, and retiring in 1987 as Chief Master Sergeant.

Robby was an active member of the Methodist Church of Merced for many years and worked for B&T Industries as well as Gallo Winery before his final move to Las Vegas, Nevada.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sports activities, including hockey games. He also stayed active by playing with the family dog, Alex, who he loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his wife Diane, his parents Emory Robinson and Lois Messemer, his twin sons, and his sister Jane.

He is survived by his daughters: Amy Robinson, Becky Robinson, Christy Benes (Scott), Pegi Dalton(Dan), Peni Griffin (Michael), son Jeffery Robinson and grandchildren Luke Benes, Logan Benes, Rylee Benes, and Hannah Dalton.

Cremation has taken place at his request. Please privately celebrate Robby’s memory in your own ways. He will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for understanding during this difficult time.
