Abraham Hernandez

Abraham Hernandez, 92, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025. Born in Aceituna Moca, Puerto Rico on February 6, 1933, he was the eldest of eight siblings, growing up in a vibrant, close-knit family. Abraham’s life was marked by love, resilience, and dedication to those he held dear.

He married his beloved Hilda Jimenez, who preceded him in death, and together they raised four children; Henry Hernandez, Nancy Mendez, Nereida Vega, and Irma Gil. Abraham’s legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

A man of strength and warmth, Abraham’s life was rooted in family and community. His sense of humor, stories of Puerto Rico, and his unwavering support will be cherished by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unity.

A visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, located at 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010, on July 30, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 11:59 pm.

The committal service will take place at Cementerio Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West, located at 14001 NW 178th St, Miami Lakes, FL 33018, on July 31, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
