To my cousins Danny and Marilis and your families, my deepest condolences. Aunt Carrie was an amazing, loving person who will be dearly missed, but to you she was a mother and a grandmother, and that special relationship is irreplaceable. I hope you can find comfort knowing that she is in a better place and that her time on earth was well spent, having overcome great difficulties, then creating a beautiful family that will continue her legacy. Aunt Carrie will always hold a special place in my heart, as will Uncle Ralphy. May they finally be reunited in heaven! During my many visits to Miami since I was a kid with my parents and siblings and to just this past year with my wife and my own kids, Aunt Carrie always welcomed us into her home, with good food, good coffee, and good conversation. I'll always cherish the time I spent with her, as will my wife Edith who is also saddened by her passing. Our next trip to Miami won't be the same without her. From the Robles family, our love and prayers to you all.

My heart will remember Cary's beautiful smile, her sweet, loving voice, and her sincere, warm hearted nature. Cary gave much of herself in love and care to her family and to ours. We shared memorable times with Cary at her home during visits we made between Miami and Colombia. Cary's strong devotion and faith in God helped her to accept and endure many of her life's trials. She was a strong, resilient sister and aunt much loved and respected by my family. May Cary be blessed in God's hands as her spirit lives on.

Aunt Cary was a kind, loving person, and I will always remember her warm smile and her strong sense of family. I fondly remember us talking over a long breakfast when I stayed overnight at the house on a trip to Colombia. That strong Cuban coffee she prepared had us talking about her childhood in Cuba and her early years in Miami, and we looked through some old family photo albums together. Cousins Dann and Marilis, I will always cherish this and other happy memories of your mom. She is in Heaven now, and will be in our hearts always. May she rest in peace. Un abrazo primos.

Though our entire Chavez Family prayed for her recovery, God wanted her with Him. I'm sure Ralph was missing her mostly. My sister-n-law (sister) was a very strong and dedicated to Family. Her impression was left on all who met her. She worked hard raising her two precious children while caring for her own parents. Then helping with her grandkids. Finally when the hurt starts to fade...we can be assured that her pain is gone and she is now in a better place with her husband, watching over their Family. Listen to your heart and find comfort in what they tell it.

My abuela! no one can compare to her, she was a strong, brave, caring, independent woman. I am going to miss her so much, just looking at all the people who came to this event made me realize a lot, she cared for everyone. every single person there was affected by her in a great way! Also the photos I saw made me tear up a lot i miss her so much. She always encouraged me to chase my dreams, I remember telling her everything about Imagineering and she listened to it all and remembered everything! My time with her was very special, I looked at her like a second mom and she made me feel so special even when a lot of people depended on her or wanted her attention, she made sure Julian and I felt like her children.

What makes me happy about all of this is, she is reunited with so many family members she always told stories about. Especially Abeulo, I am happy they are together again. I love you a lot Abuela and I’m going to miss you lots, mwah!!!
