I was so sorry to hear about Fenton's passing. He was my best friend, Tillie Taylor's brother. My Mom used to pick Tillie and Fenton 
at their house every morning on the way to 10th grade at Hialeah High. Fenton was a junior then. Because he played football, I used to quiz him all the time about the cute guys who were on his team. He never got annoyed just ansered my questions. He was a good guy. 

I wonder if anyone knows what happened to Tillie? I went to see her in NY in 1969 and she came to see me in the early 70's in San Jose, CA,  but I lost contact with her. Can anyone tell me where she lives or if she's still alive? I'd sure appreciate it. Sympathies to Barb, Fenton's wife.  Sincerely,  Patti (Ward) Porter

Sorry for your loss, i just happened to be looking up Fenton Taylor and old friend in the air force and saw this. He sure looks a lot like my friend we we’re together in Puerto Rico sometime between 1963 a 1965 Fenton was married at that time. We are the same age could this be my friend. I just found out Fenton passed last year. His sister, Tillie (Sharon) was my best friend at Palm Spgs Jr high. and also at HHS. My Mom used to pick Tillie and Fenton up every day and take us to Hialeah High. I was always asking him about some of the cute football players. He was fun and so nice. I visited Tillie in New York in l969. She lived out on Long Island. We wanted me to stay over and go to a concert the next day with her. I couldn't cause I had my 3 yr old. The concert was "Woodstock"!! I lost touch with her in the '70s.. I think she's passed now. Great loving family. I loved their parents too. 




For many years I attempted to find the Taylor family: Herman, Maxine, Fenton, Sharon and Kathy. They lived across the street from my family in Hialeah. Our families were close.  We lost touch when Herman was transferred with PAA in the early sixties. Fenton was a great athlete and took time  playing football in the street and giving me advice that proved helpful when I played for HHS a few years later. RIP Fenton!

Just heard of the passing of Fenton. We were teammates on Hialeah PBA for coach Leggett. He had a great overhand curve ball that I still remember after all these years.  A terrific athlete and a great friend.
