Juan Cruz

Juan Cruz was born in Cuba, in La Provincia de La Salud on June 12, 1928 to parents Claudio Cruz and Hortensia Reyes. On Friday, January 29, 2021, Juan departed this life, leaving behind so many people who will miss him dearly.

With tear filled eyes and heavy hearts, Juan is remembered as a very special person to his family. He was a man who was kind, generous and loving. He believed in doing everything the honest way and it is those strong moral convictions that have stayed with him during his life. Juan is described as an awesome, humble and hands on man who was very tidy. He loved to clean and he kept his surroundings in neat and clean conditions.

Juan was also a great story teller. His family remembers how when he would tell stories from his past, he would have your undivided attention as he would tell those wonderful tales. Even though he was loved and adored by everyone, his family all agree that his wife was the love of his life.

Left to cherish those memories are his 2 children, 4 grandchildren as well as host of additional family members, friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

In memory of Juan Cruz, an overnight visitation will be held from Tuesday, February 2, 2021 starting at 6:00 P.M. until Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 9:15 A.M. At 9:30 A.M., the funeral procession will proceed to Flagler Memorial Park for a Committal Service at 10:00 A.M. The address for the Cemetery is 5301 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida, 33134.
