Dear Lucy, I remember you when we went to Broward College to follow our dreams. I remember you as a kind person, and all the time smiling.  I remember your family, your children. Unfortunately, we lost contact when I moved from FL to MD. God bless your soul and your children.

Lucy, el breve tiempo en que nuestros caminos se cruzaron,  sembramos la semilla de la amistad. Al pasar de los años nunca falto un mensaje navideño, un como estas?, un feliz día de la madre o de la amistad. Nunca olvidare tu sonrisa jovial y sincera, tus ganas de echar para delante siempre. Fuiste un ejemplo de lucha. Es muy difícil aceptar que ya no estés entre nosotros, pero seguro estás en un mejor lugar.  A la familia, un caluroso abrazo y  mis más sincero pésame.  Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar mi querida Lucy. 

You were an amazing person. You always delivered outstanding professionalism, compassion, passion and knowledge that went above and beyond the call of duty every single time. Perhaps, this is one reason why you received such high recognition by running your own rehab group. I'm still in shock about your passing on. I will always remember your energy, Your Love Of Life, and your ability to make people feel and believe that there was a greater strength to hold on to. 

I met Lucy when she was pursuing her occupational therapy degree at FIU, and I was one of her instructors.  She was a special human being, one full of resilience, willingness to learn, passion, and good energy. There was not any obstacle or challenge that she could not overcome, always with a smile on her face. To her family, you now have another angel guarding you and probably telling you what to do :).  Lucy, I will always be very proud of all your accomplishments. You were an amazing role model. Until we re-connect again...

I  have known Lucy for a few years & she was full of energy & enthusiasm.  She loved & genuinely cared for her patients dearly.  The last interaction I had with Lucy was talking about God’s goodness, her illness & most important her children. We  held hands & we prayed .  We made a vow to each other that when  we passed  each other in the hallway, we will say I’m free & both knew what that meant. I will miss her a lot & the last memory we shared, I will hold closely to my heart. My sincerest condolences to the family & I will pray  that God  will hold you close while you mourn.  Sleep Lucy until we meet again..🙏🏽🌹💜

Lucy, amiga, como te voy a extranar! Siempre estuviste ahi para escucharme, ayudarme, y alegrarme. Tu paciencia, nobleza, deseos de superacion, y amor por tu familia fueron de mi gran admiracion. Hoy ya estas descansando de las incomodidades y dolores que tu cuerpo te estaba causando y tu alma estara rodeada solamente por la belleza y serenidad que mereces. Hasta que mi tiempo llegue tambien y volvamos a vernos, te voy a llevar en mi pensamiento y en mi corazon. Te quiero mucho, Sonia

I will miss Lucy very much. She was very dear to me. We shared many memories on our drives home. We made each other laugh when things were sad and gloomy. Most of all, we prayed for one another and our families. The last week we spoke she told me she felt at peace and that she knew that God was in control. We spoke about being in the presence of the Lord and how wonderful it will be. I’m sure Lucy is in His presence with a beautiful smile in her face.  


Having to work with her has been such a privilege. I am very thankful to have known such a beautiful soul. She was a beautiful person in and out. She always greets me and always shared a laugh with me as well. She was one in a million. I love and miss you ❤️.


For the littlest time I’ve known Lucy; I have found someone who strength and hardworking ethics were remarkable. She will be missed by all those close to her and the ones who came to know her! My thoughts and prayers for her family and friends!

I was one of Lucy's Professors at FIU while in the OT Program.  I admired Lucy's hard work and determination to fulfill her heart's desire to become an OTR. My prayers accompany her noble soul ..and to her family my wish that they will find refuge in  the love that emanated in Lucy's heart for them.

So many interesting conversations we had at work when we had time. We had common interest and life stories that connected us to a level not often found at a workplace.  
Dear Lucy, you’ll be missed. 

Para esta familia González tu partida nos ha dolido en lo más profundo de nuestros corazones, es muy difícil aceptar esta triste realidad, solo nos queda de ti Amada Lucí los mejores recuerdos vividos contigo, sobre todo hace 2 años tuvimos la oportunidad y la dicha de haber compartido maravillosos momentos a tu lado, te recordaremos con ese mismo amor que te profesamos, sabemos que estás en un lugar rodeada de ángeles y sabemos que desde el cielo estarás bendición y cuidando a tus hermosos hijos y a esa madre maravillosa que dejaste, por siempre en nuestros corazones, feliz viaje. 

Lucy was a great co-worker and over the past year she became a dear friend to me. I met Lucy when I started as the Rehab Director at Stratford Court in Boca Raton. I will miss our 2 hour conversations on the phone about work and life! She had an amazing heart and I am blessed that God allowed me the opportunity to get to know her as a friend. I am heartbroken but I am confident that you gained your heavenly angel wings. You are resting peacefully now and I will always remember my dear Lucy! 

Lucy was a special person to me fellow DOR at the Straford Court at Boca Raton.Lucy was so helpful and caring.May her spirit live with us and may she be in heaven with Jesus Christ our Savior.She made an impact in the short time I knew her in December 2020.My condolences to the Rodriguez family for your loss.
