Mercedes Cruz, age 87, of Hialeah, Florida passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Mercedes was born in Cabana Cuba May 26, 1934.

Mercedes is survived by her children Alicia Benitez; Arturo Cruz; Nancy Cruz; Aleida Cruz. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Mercedes will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 12:00 pm at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 9, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM at St Benedict Catholic Church, 701 West 77 Street, Hialeah, FL 33014. A burial service will follow Monday, August 9, 2021 starting at 10:30 AM to Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57 Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014.
