Born a week later than scheduled, Miguel was committed to making up for lost time and to living life to its fullest. He made every minute count and brought a level of energy that we all wish could be bottled. A Miami native and natural talent at everything he tried, Miguel had a passion for barbering and turned out the best fades in town. He was one of those guys who made you look cooler by merely being associated with him.
He loved his family and adored his three children, Amaya, Alex, and Jasmine. His other love - Air Jordan Sneakers - believing he could never have too many (even though he only had two feet ) and often lobbying for that stylish matching jersey. A true charmer with a larger than life personality that was infectious.
Miguel will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him.
Miguel is survived by; daughter Amaya Cortes; son Alex Cortes; and daughter Jazmine Cortes; mother Camille A. Aguilar and father Jose Manuel Cortes; sister Sabrina Ann Chouza and brother Jose Chouza.
A visitation for Miguel will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010.
