GRANITE FALLS – Adina LeShea Bryson, 42 of Granite Falls passed away on December 30, 2022 at Duke Medical Center.
Adina was born on April 23, 1980 in Burke County to Dennis Bivins Sr. and Katherine Wood. She was out going, fun loving and had a quirky sense of humor.
Adina was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Whitener; grandparents, Susie Rowe, Dean Parker, and Ted Rowe.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jesse Reitzel, Jenna Suddreth; parents, Katherine Wood and husband Steve, Dennis Bivins Sr. and wife Linda; brother, Dennis Bivins Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 12 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Chris Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 AM – 12 PM at the funeral home.
The Family would like to thank the exemplary care of the nurses and doctors of DCT 7th and 8th floors in the Central Tower at Duke. You made the families time there comforting and less stressful by taking such tremendous care of our daughter.
