Allen Curtis Bowman

HICKORY---- Allen Curtis Bowman, 62, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 unexpectedly at his residence. Allen was born December 31, 1952 in Catawba County to the late Mosie and Mano Isenhour Bowman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Clayton Bowman. Allen was employed for Aramark in the maintenance department at Lenoir Rhyne University for over 29 years as a locksmith and carpenter. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed hiking, golfing, and just being outside. He is survived by his wife Annette Marsh Bowman of the home; his son Nicholas Allen Bowman and wife Jenna of East Bend; his daughter Emma Bowman Vilagos and husband Kenny of Greensboro; his brothers Jerry Bowman and Wayne Bowman. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00am in Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Weisner officiating. Family will receive friends following the memorial service.
