When I first moved to NC I lived with my grandmother. Everyday we would scare the ducks in her giant backyard away with her golf cart. They would run so fast into the lake and it always made us laugh. She was a beautiful soul and I’m very thankful to have know her.

My Grandmother was a beautiful person inside and out. She had the most incredible wit and sense of humor and I will miss her laugh and hearing her call me "her angel". I am so blessed to have had her in my life fo so many years, she knew and loved her 3 great-grandchildren so much and would often ask about them. I remember her teaching me how to crochet when I was young and singing songs from church. She valued her family so much and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I’m so lucky to have the most amazing grandmother in the world. She was my best friend I literally told her everything! I drive a lot for work so I would call her often and keep her updated on my life. When me and my siblings were younger we use to walk the beach to her house and she would always cook for us and sing church songs to us. Her and my grandfather were very witty with each other and I loved seeing that love connection they shared. She is going to be greatly missed and when I have grandkids I’m going to send them sweet letters in the mail just like she always did. Love you grandmother. Your Angel, Sara xoxo
