Aubory Gene Huffman

Vale – Aubory Gene Huffman, 74 of Vale went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence.

Born on January 20, 1948 in Catawba County, NC, he was the son the late Dock and Beulah Mae Willis Huffman. Aubory served in the Vietnam War as a Seabee in the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Myrtle Anthony and Lori Ann Sigmon.

Aubory is survived by, Roger Carter nephew, Zoina McSwain sister, Edith Carswell sister, Cheri Carter niece, Toni Couch niece, and Bradley Cromer nephew, along with several great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Aubory’s name.
