Hickory – Azalee Pauline Linder Hunt, 71 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at Carolina Caring surrounded by her family.
Born on May 27th, 1952 in Catawba County, NC, Azalee was the daughter of the late Garfield and Rosa Beatrice Farris Linder.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, 2 brothers, Garfield Linder, Jr. and William Linder and 2 sisters, Rosa Lee Nichols and Jessie Linder.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her husband of 49 years, John Hunt; her daughter, Karen Wilson; 2 granddaughters, Ashley Hunt and Laura Hunt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with Rev. Willetta Ar-Rahmaan officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
