Barbara Miller Isenhour

Barbara Miller Isenhour, 81, passed away February 25, 2014 at Springs of Catawba. Barbara was born November 2, 1932 in Catawba Co. to the late Loy F. and Zelda Hahn Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Dottie Reid, Helen Frye and Evelyn M. Pitts and 2 brothers, Charles Miller and Harold Miller. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and a member of the choir. Barbara retired from Shuford Furniture. Surviving are a daughter, Camilla Isenhour of Hickory; granddaughter Adrianne Jean Moore of Killeen, TX.; great granddaughter, Zoe Elizabeth Moore of Killeen, TX; sisters, Mary Frances Yount of Hickory and Revonda Harris of Bethlehem; brothers, Joe Miller and John Miller both of Hickory. Services will be Friday, February 28, at 3:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernie Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 – 2:45 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, N.
